Staffing Update

We are pleased to welcome Heather Pearcey back as Assistant Principal—she has resumed her duties and is once again part of our administrative team.

Student Reminders

To support student success, families can help reinforce healthy habits such as:

✔ Turning off screens by 9:00 PM

✔ Waking up at a consistent time

✔ Eating breakfast before school

✔ Arriving on time and prepared for class

We continue to see challenges with students returning on time from off-campus lunch. Despite the additional time provided, punctuality remains an issue. We ask for parental support in reinforcing the importance of returning to class on time.

Mount Royal’s Lit Day

We are thrilled to introduce Mount Royal’s Lit Day—our first-ever celebration of literacy! On April 25, students will participate in engaging sessions, including:

  • Book Club
  • Intro to Calligraphy
  • First Chapter Café
  • Make-a-Zine Workshop
  • Poets’ Corner
  • Spelling Bee & Literature Trivia

Thank you to families who have contributed to our Lit Day Book Exchange—your donations are greatly appreciated! If you have books to donate, please send them with your child.
